We also promote the cultural side of the Association having being involved in Scor since its inception and it was a motion from our club to the National Congress that saw the setting up of Scor na nOg. The first four All Ireland finals in junior Scor were staged in our Social Centre.

CHAIRMANS WELCOME MESSAGE
As Chairman of Cumann Luthchleas Gael An Clarach I would like to welcome you to our newly updated club website. The Clara club has strong connections with the early founding days of the Association and was the first club in Leinster, outside Dublin, to be affiliated, on the 15th Dec 1884. At the time of writing Clara is one of only four dual Senior Clubs in Offaly and we are proud of the fact that we promote both codes equally at all levels. We were the first club to contest both County Senior Hurling and Football finals in the same year 1923.
