Senior Football Championship-Clara Played Gracefield last Saturday night and won on a score line of Clara 0-14 to Gracefield 0-4. After the first ten minutes Clara led by 0-3 to 0-1 with T Deehan getting two points and a point from M Mitchell. Scott Brady then pointed for Clara before G Guilfoyle got another to leave Clara 0-5 to 0-1 up mid-way through the first half. Another T Deehan point and a M Mitchell 45 put Clara 0-7 to 0-1 up after 20 minutes. A P Deehan point and a point from J Reynolds put Clara 0-9 to 0-1 ahead entering the last minutes of the half before a G Guilfoyle point left the half time score 0-10 to 0-1 in favour of Clara. After 10 minutes of the second half a Gracefield point cancelled by a T Deehan free left Clara 0-11 to 0-2 up mid-ways through the half.
