U14 HURLING CHALLENGE

Clara v Clonard (Laois)

In a pre feile u/14 hurling challenge, Clara met Clonard of Laois last Saturday in Parc Bhrid. Clara had a full compliment of players for the game, Clonard could only field 12 players.

Subsequently we were well ahead at half time.  after good scoring from Josh Fleming 2-0, Seamus O'Brien 1-0, and David Newman 1-0, Adam Scanlon 0-3,  Colm Doyle 0-1.

In the second half to even matters up Adam Scanlon, Sean O'Brien, and Diarmuid Devery lined out with Clonard and we finished the game with 15 aside.

There were good performances from Leon and his younger brother Calum Egan, Martin Fleming, Carl Stewart, along with the early scorers in a competent Clara performance.
